INTRODUCTION

"GOSPEL TRACT MINISTRIES" is a interdenominational Christian faith fellowship, established in the year 1990 by the spirit filled pastors, evangelists and believers. It has started its headquarter at Tenali town and Guntur district of the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. Tenali town is situated towards east at the distance of 30 K.Ms. from the district headquarter.. It is a small town with a population of 1,50,000 out of which 85% are Hindu, 12% Muslim and 3% Christian. The town has been religiously, politically and socially dominated by the Hindu agrarian gommunities, very recently they constructed, 60 feet high idol of lord Vinayak (God with elephant head) because idolatry is being the biggest form of worship in our country.

VISION

The vision of the "GOSPEL TRACT MINISTRIES" is to reach the Un-reached and preach the gospel to turn people to Christ, restore backsliders and strengthen them to walkinthefootprintsoftheirSaviourJesusChrist.Brother, if you possible please provide here in my area, Your Gospel messages are relay to free media. OPERATION AREA
Primarily the "GOSPEL TRACT MINISTRIES" is a striving to spread teh gospel among reural areas, mostly lin remote villages of Guntur and Prakasam districts. Most of the villages where "GOSPEL TRACT MINISTRIES" is working, are situated on the coast of Bay of Bengal, and they are very backwarded Villages. Especially the villages (micro-ones in Character) lack basic amenities, such as drinking water, housing, educatin, communication, Health and employment. Most of the people except fishermen lived on seasonal employment, and in the season of un-employment they migrate to neary by towns/cities to seek employment. Because of this reson, the gospel work has not been developed, and the culture of people of such areas is unchanged. So, the "Society of the Prince of Peace" has designed the following activities to revive the people and make them to live in the victory and fulness of God.

ACTIVITIES
RURAL EVANGELISM

" Go, ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature". (Mark 16:15). India is the country of villages, and more than 80% of its population lives in villages which are citadels of Hindu culture and customs. Mainly they worship several gods and goddeses with a belief that they can be saved from proverty and illness, to please their deities they offer different types of sacrifices.
In the days, when the Christian Missionary work has been initiated only few villages and had opportunity to hear the gospel and receive Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour.
In result of the missionary work and compassion many poor and vulnerable sections are enlightened and turned to Christ. The Christians of India are thankful to the missionaries who redeemed the People from spiritual darkness.
Now, the SGM has selected 40 villages in coastal and drought areas of Guntur and Prakasam Disticts and spreading his gospel with the network of 40 young pastors and 6 Bible women those who are commissioned by God and dedicated to reap His harvest.

YOUTH MINISTRY

"Let no man despise the youth, be those an example... in purity (Timothy 4:11-12). Many youth in our societies are deflected and lived in deprayed situation because of un-employment, lack of spiritual guidance and degraded social values. In result of this, they are increasingly taking to the bottle, drugs and other vices, they have no clear out goal in their lives. They always doubting their situation. To get rid of this uneasiness they shifting themselved to all evils.
No pastor or community elders realised to harness untaped energies and to actively involve youth in evangelical or church activities.
So, the "GOSPEL TRACT MINISTRIES" started mobilising both urban and rural youth irrespective of sex and education for evangelical and social action of their communities. It is also trying to implement micro credit and income generation programmes for the youth to avert them from all sorts of worldly entices and to make them to live on their own.

WOMEN AND CHILDREN MINISTRY

"She openeth her mouth with wisdom and on her tongue is the law of kindness". (Prov. 31:27)
The women of under previleged sections in rural areas are continued to languish in the throes of illiteracy and ignorance. Thye have no knowledge in spiritual and social matters. A rural woman who is illiterate and economically poor works hard, and harder than a man for the maintenance of her family. They do all the work done by men. Deep rooted customs, traditions and socio-cultural beliefs preven them from participating in decision making either in the family or in the society.
The women of families living in poverty and the young widows who have no sources of income are deflected to obscenity. Women evangelists of the "GOSPEL TRACT MINISTRIES" frequently reaching such areas and women, educating them on health, nutrition and family welfare along with the gospel.

SITUATION OF PASTORS

Most of our pastors and women evangelists converted from heathen faith to Christ and dedicated themselves to preach the word of God in the places where Christ has not been named. They visit several villages faithfully by walk even though there is no public they walk 4 to 6 K.Ms. and return home late in the night after preaching several hours in villages. They regularly conduct worship on sundays in their headquarters. They are rich in faith but poorest we have worked with. They are often hungry nearly naked. Some of them are in short food supplies now many people have only one meager meal a day. They work with commitment to win souls for Christ. Though they are little educated they are a very effective in evangelising and disciplining heathen people of their areas.
They gather once in a month at their area headquarters to share their experiences with fellow brethren and to equip themselves with the word of God. They pray collectively to achieve their goal and to break the ruses of satan. The senior and ordained pastors of the fellowship refresh them with the word of God to equip them for the task of ministry.

CONCLUSION

The "GOSPEL TRACT MINISTRIES" organising prayer cells to communicate the problems of fellowship, and people with God. Everyday it conduct group prayers to heal physical and emotional sicknesses of people. Besides this the "Society of the Prince of Peace" is striving to keep the people in the bond of peace, and trying to bring other sheep in to His fold, through creating social and spiritual awarness among the people.So, please pray for the hapless and destitutes and contribute generously to rehabilitate them with the love of Our Christ.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION

1. To establish, maintain and regulate the affairs of the Institution and encourage Sports, Literary Educationsal and Cultural Activities.
2. To Promote Unity, Discipline Service, and Patriotism, to promote development in Scientific, Social Fields, to create deepest desire towards National Development Programme.

3. To promote Professional/Agricultural/Handicrafts, to enhance the Economical Development of the Country.

4. To Conduct Holiday Home Camps and cultural tours for the benefit of the members and children.

5. To promote Cultural Recreation activites, to promote development in Scientific Weaker Section and to eradicate communalism in the Citizens of India.

6. Running Residential Institutions for the Health Care Protectino and rehabilitation of Socially Handicapped children etc.

7. To arrange Temporary Homes for children from brokent homes, Children of unattatched workers, employed or under training and the like.

8. To establish Orphanages and Home for the aged by providing free boarding and education, irrespective of case, community and creed.

9. To establish Dispensaries and Medical Centres to provide drugs for the poor sufferers in Rural and Urban areas.

10. To establish Technical Institutions and Welfare Centre for Tribals, Oppressed and Poor to uplift them in Society.

11. To open Libraries in different localities with useful books for the benefit of the Society.

12. Running of Balwadies, Hobby Clubs, Nursery of Pre-Primary Schools for the Adult and Poor.

13. To carry on social and cultural activities by conducting relief work, such as cyclone, famine and providing agricultural facilities was modern methods.

14. All other objects of the society are Non-Political non-recial and non-tribalistic.

15. This is a non-profitable Association/Organisation.

16. To receive funds either in kind or coin from any other charitable organisation or person for the development of the organisation.

17. The benefits of the society shall be open to all irrespective of community caste or creed etc.

18. To promote educational institutions of Health Science and Computer courses.

19. To promote and create awareness health and family welfare among the people and also to provide health facilities in urban and rural areas.

20. To establish educational and vocational training centres, for the minorities and other communities to improve their education status.

21. To promote welfare programmers for the women and child.

22. To establish family counselling, educational conunselling centres.

23. To promote special programmes for the welfare of the handicapped for the upliftment.

24. To participate the JANMABHUMI programme and develop the education in rural and urban areas
